Cornish Circular Economies: Edible Insect

Join us to explore the potential of producing insects for food, feed and fertiliser in the Southwest, and the ways in which this process can incorporate the circular economy. This one-off event will feature talks from a range of experts, followed by a opportunity for you to participate in a discussion.

All are welcome to attend, with the aim of building collaborative networks between:

  • Cornish SMEs who would like to develop innovative and sustainable ways to recycle their organic waste products (e.g. brewery waste)
  • Aspiring/ established local insect producers
  • Businesses who are interested in incorporating insects into their products/ production line.

This event is organised by the Edible Insects project, run by the University of Exeter and funded by Agri-tech Cornwall.

Light refreshments (tea/ coffee) will be provided, as well as the opportunity to sample some insect-based snacks!
